For all of you, unless by some weird happenstance, this will be your first time reading anything I've ever written. There are a few things you should know about me before you press onward or before you begin taking my word as scripture.
I'm not a writer. I write a lot for a living, but no ordinary reader would find a will very exciting. That, I am sure of.
I haven't been reading comics since I first learned to read. The closest I came to being an early comic book fan was reading a vast amount of The Adventures of Tintin in grade school. Outside a select few standout graphic novels and random comics, prior to DC Comics "New 52" relaunch, my exposure to the world of comic books was limited to Movies and TV Shows.
I am however extremely passionate about all things comics. Since I first opened up Scott Snyder's Batman #1 in September 2011, I have been captivated by the rich worlds, thrilling stories, and dynamic characters found throughout comic books.
As my passion for this hobby grew, so did my desire to share my thoughts and opinions on all things comics. I look forward to sharing my thoughts, ratings, and opinions of new comic book related media whether it be in floppy, trade paperback, television, or movie format.
Additionally, since I only just really started my comic obsession in 2011, there is a lot of material I still have yet to go back and read. Hence the name and overall theme of this website. The back issues and stories I have missed out on only seem to multiply. I plan to tackle the back issue backlog and read some of the best and worst comics ever written. Hopefully helping other new readers determine which stories they should be checking out along the way.
I'm humbled by the mere fact you made it this far, thank you for taking the time to visit my website. Please feel free to provide any feedback or recommendations for the website or comics I should check out.
