BOOM! Studios
- Last Sons of America #1 - A maybe for this pretty crowded week. The description sounds interesting and I am huge fan of Children of Men, so this one draws me in. That being said the 8 page preview didn't do a whole lot for me, but this may work its way home with me.
- Batman (2011-) #46 - The first comic book series I ever started pulling. A no-brainer.
- Batman and Robin Eternal #6 - I intended to catch up with last week's issue, if I don't get caught up after this week I'm going to switch to digital on this series so I can get caught up when I have the time. Again, I've only heard great things.
- G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #219 - Issues 218/219 are supposed to be a great jumping on point for G.I. Joe and I don't plan on missing this opportunity. My G.I. Joe exposure is very limited so I will be excited to see how approachable this series is tomorrow when I read both 218 and 219.
- GodDamned #1 - Jason Aaron.
- Limbo #1 (MR) - A big maybe. The description provided for the comic is right up my alley, but its a miniseries which usually means tpb wait for me.
- Southern Bastards #12 - See above. I have to admit I am running a few issue behind but Southern Bastards has yet to let me down.
- All New All Different Avengers #1 - Two big draws for me here: 1) team composition; 2) Mark Waid. All New All Different has been all over the place in quality, excited to see what Waid brings to the Avengers table.
- All New Hawkeye #1 -I'll flip through this in the store and make a call before taking this one home. Interesting that the description describes this as "Hawkeye and Hawkeye take aim at another season." I'm not a fan of going to a season approach for comic books.
- All New Wolverine #1 - X-23!
- Illuminati #1 - Let me start by saying I love what Josh Williamson did with the first arc of Ghosted. I fell off the series, but loved what he did with those first 6 issues. Throw in what sounds like an interesting take on some of Marvel's villains and I'm in.
- Ultimates #1 - I haven't heard the best things about The New Avengers but I'm willing to try out Ewing's work on this very unique team make-up. Not sure what to expect.
- Slash & Burn #1 - Vertigo is killing it with the new titles lately, not missing this one.
- Twilight Children #2 - I guess this is the exception to the mini-series = trade wait rule? Issue #1 was so good that I am willing to break that rule.
